God Restores

“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you” (Joel 2:25).

At times we may feel that our lives are just wasting away, we serve a God who not only preserves us but He also restores. God has promised not only to restore what the various worms have eaten, but He will also restore years, times, seasons that may have been wasted in the past.

“And the LORD restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.”(Job 42:10)

Beloved, whatever we feel that we have lost or wasted, instead of being discouraged we must believe that God will restore. God will restore our lives, relationship, health, years, and finances; and bring us to a bigger, better, and brighter place.

“Then the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you and gather you again from all the nations where he scattered you.”(Deut 30:3)

God is Able

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” ( Eph 3:20)
God is able to do…
  • ·         Exceedingly to go beyond any request
  • ·         Abundantly – to do more than enough
  • ·         Above: to go over and above, beyond any need
  • ·         All that we ask-request
  • ·         All we can think- Imagine
“God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”(2 Cor 9:8)
“Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.”(Heb 7:25)
Beloved, like the three Hebrew boys declared, “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.”(Dan 3:17) let us take the limits off and unleash our faith in the ability of God.

God Knows

“Then Jesus lifted up His eyes, and seeing a great multitude coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where shall we buy bread, that these may eat?” But this He said to test him, for He Himself knew what He would do. Philip answered Him, “Two hundred denarii worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one of them may have a little.” “John 6:5-7)

When Jesus saw the multitude He decided to ask Philip a question in order to test him.  Phillip failed the test, because he was looking to human reasoning for answers, he calculated how much money they had to supply bread but he was too blind to see the BREAD OF LIFE right in front of him. Jesus knew what he was going to do all along. Jesus is the All Knowing God. When faced with a question like Ezekiel when ask

‘’Can these dry bones live?” he responded” Lord You know” (Ezekiel 37:3)
Beloved we don’t have to look to ourselves for answers when we serve an Omniscient.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,” (Jer 29:11)

Pray, Pray, Pray

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Pray, Pray, Pray

Jabez cried to the God of Israel, saying, Oh, that You would bless us and enlarge our territory,
and that Your hand might be with us, and You would keep us from evil that we may not cause pain!
And God granted his request.( 1 Chron 4:10)

Set Time

“You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favor her, yea, the set time, is come.”(Ps102:13)

“To Everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” (Eccl 3: 1)

We will not miss the timing of God. God has power to not only set our time but He can reset our time; in order to His purpose for our life.
Don’t move out of the timing of God; He does everything at the proper time
“The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time.”(Ps 145:15)
“All creatures look to You to give them their food at the proper time.” (Ps 104:27)
If we set a clock to alarm at 7:00 it will not alarm at 6:59, likewise God has a set time to favor us.
Let us trust the timing of God,” and not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”(Gal 6:9)

For our healing, breakthrough, promises, restoration, salvation, and deliverance God has a set time, and Beloved, it has come!

Set backs are really Setups

“…Nothing can hinder the Lord from saving, whether by many or by few.”(1 Sam 14:6)

After Joseph received a dream and David was anointed, they thought that their future was bright; however along the way they both experience many setback, disappointment and things that threaten the promises of God. Joseph and David kept moving forward in spite of the obstacles and opposition they faced. We can see in the long run that all their Setbacks were really The Lord Setting them up for His blessings and promises.

Beloved the Promises of God are sure, so if God has promised us something we can rest assure that “it shall come to pass” regardless of the setbacks we may encounter. The purpose of the Lord must be established in our lives, “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” ( Rom 8:31)

I declare that Setbacks will not set us back, but setbacks will cause us to move forward to the place that the Lord has Set up for us.

New Mercies

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”(Lam 3:22)

In spite of the struggle we face we can wake up each morning to new mercies; every morning we are given a clean slate that allows us opportunity to challenge our challenges that may have defeated us yesterday.

Since a fresh start is given to us every day, so we don’t have to dwell on yesterday, or worry about tomorrow because God in His faithfulness has provided daily mercies for us.“ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”(Matt 6:34)

Beloved, we can rest assured that for every daily trouble; the Lord has provided new mercies.
Today is a new day, so experience the new and fresh from the presence of God.

New Thing

“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” (Isaiah 43:18-19)

The people of Israel cried again and said, “Who will give us meat to eat? We remember all the fish we could eat free in Egypt, and all the fruit and vegetables and spices. But now our strength is gone. There is nothing at all to look at except this bread from heaven.”(Num 11:4-6)

The children of Israel were focused the food they ate while they were in Egypt; they could not enjoy the manna and the provision of God. When we are focused on the past we cannot enjoy the blessings that are right in front of us; we will not be open to embrace the new thing that God desires to accomplish in our lives.

Beloved, let us forget the former things and not dwell on the past because God is doing a new thing.

New Creation

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”(2 Cor 5:17)

When we are in receive Christ we are entering a brand new life, where the "inner man" undergoes a total transformation

Ezekiel 36 God has promised that He will give His people a NEW heart made of flesh and not of stone. God has given us a new heart to receptive to His Word
Old things are passed away but they will be replaced with new things. Old mind set is replaced, so now we have the mind of Christ; therefore as new creations in Christ let us walk in the newness of life.

I pray that all things become new and you will embrace new purpose, new vision, new beginning and new way of thinking in Jesus Name.
